Entrepreneur of the Year Award Guidelines & Application
The Award
Formerly the Businesswoman of the Year Award, the WCR Gwinnett Local Chapter Entrepreneur of the Year Award is awarded to a chapter member who has exhibited leadership in their work and community. (While Member of the Year is awarded to a volunteer who has made a notable contribution to the life of the chapter, the Entrepreneur of the Year is awarded to a REALTOR who has achieved something notable in business.)
Deadline
The deadline to submit your application and photo is11:30 a.m. on October 15, 2010.
Eligible Nominees
·
Must be a REALTOR® or REALTOR®-Associate Member of National Women’s Council of REALTORS®.
·
Should have been a REALTOR® or REALTOR®-Associate for a minimum of one year.
Award Criteria
The nominee is asked to describe:

Business Accomplishments (Weight of 50%)
o
A recent business initiative that yielded outstanding business results for the applicant.
o
How the applicant is doing business differently than five (5) years ago & what benefits this has yielded.
o
What recommendations the applicant would make to someone new to the real estate profession.
·
Mentoring (Weight of 15%)
o
How the applicant has served as a mentor to others.
·
Leadership (Weight of 10%)
o
A list (with dates) of Local, State and National Leadership positions held by the applicant.
·
Involvement in the Business Community and/or Politics (Weight of 10%)
o
The applicant’s business community involvement, including membership in professional organizations and public offices campaigned for and/or held.
·
Production (Weight of 5%)
o
For sales associate applicants, their annual production in sides or volume.
o
For broker/owner/manager applicants, the number of units sold or number of sales agents managed.
·
Education (Weight of 5%)
o
The applicant’s professional education (with dates).
·
Career Achievements (Weight of 5%)
o
The applicant’s outstanding achievements in their career or special recognition received.
